This is Ashfaq Malik (CEO of SANASH WELFARE FOUNDATION). I like to sensitize an important message to all of kind hearted people. During the month of Ramadan, many people feel compelled to donate to charity and help those in need. It is seen as a blessing to be able to give back and support others during this holy time. However, it is important to consider the impact of our donations. Are we simply giving for short-term happiness, or are we contributing to long-lasting projects that can truly make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate?
When you donate, whether it be through zakat, fitrana, or other forms of charity, you must think about the sustainability of our contributions. Are you just providing a temporary solution, or are you investing in projects that will have a lasting impact on the lives of those in need? It is crucial to consider the long-term effects of our donations and ensure that you are truly making a difference in the lives of others.
So, before you make your next donation, take a moment to think about where your money is going. Are you contributing to a sustainable objective that will help improve the lives of those in need, or are you simply providing a short-term fix? Your donations have the power to make a real difference, so make sure they are being used effectively.
