Applicable Laws & Regulatory Framework (Pakistan)

Societies Registration Act, 1860

The non-profit regulations in Pakistan govern the registration, governance, and accountability of charitable organizations, outlining rules for managing affairs, maintaining records, and reporting.

Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration & Control) Ordinance, 1961

Establishes the legal framework under Pakistan laws for the registration, supervision, and regulation of charitable organizations, ensuring transparency and the proper use of funds in accordance with non-profit regulations.

Companies Act, 2017 (Section 42 – Not-for-Profit Companies)
